Behind the Wheel Driving Academy has some information in the office for anyone interested in taking Driver’s Training through them. You must be 15 years of age or older. Information is also available at btwdrivingonline.com
Any 8th grade student who wants to apply for the Huntingburg Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council for the 2017-2018 School year can pick up a form in the office. This Council will participate in leadership training, meet monthly to outline a vision that ultimately may be added to the City’s Comprehensive Plan and in the future, work on specific projects for the betterment of Huntingburg. Open gym for 7/8th grade girls volleyball will be on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 beginning on June 7th.
A reminder that Dawn Patrol begins for all boy and girl athletes on Thursday, June 1st. Boy's in next year's grades 10, 11, 12 will train from 6-8 AM every Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday beginning June 1st and Boy's in next year's grades 6,7,8,9 and All Girl athletes will train from 8-10 on those days. Any middle school student that is interested in running cross country next year needs to contact Mrs. Denu before the end of the year? They will need to provide either a phone # or email so that we may contact them during the summer to let them know when we will be holding practices. There will be a signup sheet in the SMS Office, please make sure you sign up before THIS FRIDAY!! Also please note, that they must also have a physical turned in before they start their first practice!
