Ambassador Program

 

What is the Southwest Dubois Schools Ambassador Program?

The goal of the Ambassador Program is for community members to:

  • Gain “behind the scenes” knowledge of how our schools function
  • Participate in dialogue with leadership on education issues
  • Develop an understanding of how the district has created a unique culture of educational excellence and innovation
  • Become partners in sharing the district mission and goals throughout the community

 

When and where will the Ambassador Program meet?

  • One morning a month, beginning in November thru May, at Central Office, 105 West Sunset Drive
  • 7:50 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
  • Meetings will include an overview of various aspects of the school district. 
    • Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the schools and have in-person experiences.

 

Ambassadors will be provided with a letter to take to their employers to support their participation if requested.
